Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded typically in the martial arts or horror types. Her style and approach are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action movies with a morbid fascination. She began reviewing movies in late 2009 after becoming popular on their forums. (Under her old username Obscurus Lupa) She was then invited to be a part of on the Channel Awesome team. The website was her home from 2009 until the year 2015 which is when Obscurus Lupa Presents became Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts on the channel. Both are based on the Charmed series and are co-hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Her appearances during Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of awful films for kids or RiffTrax as well as occasional adult comedies. She began reviewing films late in 2009. When she gained acclaim on Channel Awesome forums, she was invited into the Reviewer family. She's been on many Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She was once a member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and would often appear on episode of the Nostalgia Critic.
